Kendall Hinton joined the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent in 2020. The wide receiver is currently in his third season with the team.
Hinton started his football career at Southern Durham High School in Durham, North Carolina. He played as a quarterback during his time with the team.
During his junior year of high school, Hinton won the 3–AA passing championship by throwing for 3,972 yards and 39 touchdowns.
After graduating from high school, Hinton attended Wake Forest University, where he played four seasons of college football for the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.
Hinton participated in nine games as a true freshman in 2015, starting two of them. He completed passes for 929 yards and four touchdowns over the course of the nine games, and he ran for 390 yards and seven touchdowns.
As a sophomore, Hinton hurt his ankle while playing for the Deacon Demons against Delaware in Week 3 of the season. Hinton got a medical redshirt because he didn’t play the rest of the season, even though it was thought at first that he would miss only two to four weeks.
