Jerry Davarus Jeudy, who was born on April 24, 1999, played college football at Alabama before beginning his professional and senior career with the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL).
As a sophomore in 2018, he won the Fred Biletnikoff Award as the country’s best wide receiver, and the Broncos selected him as the 15th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
While attending Deerfield Beach High School in Deerfield Beach, Florida, Jeudy participated in high school football. As a senior in high school in 2016, he had 76 receptions for 1,054 yards and 15 touchdowns.
The 247Sports Composite gave Jeudy a five-star rating, making him the third-best wide receiver in the nation and the 21st-best recruit overall. On July 28, 2016, he agreed to play college football for the University of Alabama.
The Denver Broncos selected Jeudy with the 15th overall choice in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He was chosen as the second wide receiver, after Henry Ruggs (Las Vegas Raiders, 12th overall).
Jeudy and the organization agreed to a 4-year, $15.192 million contract on July 23, 2020, along with a $8.6 million signing bonus. Before leaving the game due to a high ankle sprain in Week 1’s matchup with the New York Giants, Jeudy had six receptions for 72 yards. On September 14, 2021, he was placed on injured reserve.
He started working on October 30. Jeudy has 38 receptions for 467 yards and no touchdowns by the end of the season.
