Quinn Meinerz is an American football guard for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League. He was born on November 15, 1998, and now plays for the team.
At the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater, he participated in collegiate football. Meinerz spent his childhood in Hartford, Wisconsin, and graduated from Hartford Union High School,
where he competed in football, track & field, and wrestling. He also attended Hartford Union High School. As a senior, he excelled on both the offensive and defensive lines
, earning honourable mention All-State accolades in both categories. Meinerz made the decision to play collegiate football at Wisconsin–Whitewater,
which is a member of the NCAA Division III, rather than at St. Cloud State or Wisconsin–La Crosse. Before becoming a starter as a sophomore and being named to the first-team All-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference,
Meinerz only appeared in two games as a freshman. That year, he was honoured by the WIAC (WIAC). The Western Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC)
and the Associated Press both recognized Meinerz by placing him on their respective first teams as a Division III All-American.
As a result of the pandemic caused by COVID-19, the 2020 NCAA Division III football season was called off, and he spent the year instead preparing at the hunting and fishing lodge that his family owns in Ontario.
Meinerz was a participant in the Senior Bowl in 2021. In the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft, the Denver Broncos picked Meinerz as the 98th overall pick in the overall draft.
He was the college football player with the highest draft position in school history and the first to be drafted since 2007.
During Meinerz’s first season with the Broncos, he appeared in 15 of the team’s 17 regular-season games and started each game that occurred after Week 9.
