Currently playing for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League, Dalton Risner is an offensive lineman in the NFL. He is 142 kg in weight and 1.96 m tall. He graduated from Wiggins High School and was chosen as an all-state player by the Denver Post in 2012 and 2013. He was ranked among the top 25 players in the state in both seasons.
From 2014 through 2018, he participated in collegiate football for the Kansas State University Wildcats squad. He redshirted his true freshman year in 2014, and in 2015, he started 13 games at center, earning first team Freshman All-America accolades from Campus Insiders and second team honors from Athlon and Scout.
In 2016, he started all 13 of the games at right tackle, and in 2017, he started all 12 regular-season games at right tackle. Throughout his college career, he started 50 of 51 games. The Denver Broncos selected Risner with the 41st overall pick in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft. By the end of the season, just 10 NFL rookies had started all 16 games.
In 2020, he made all 16 starts for the second year in a row while surrendering no sacks and not being penalized. In 2021, he made 15 starts and was the offensive lineman that played the third-most offensive snaps (832). On January 5, 2022, he was put on injured reserve, missing the final contest of the year.
