Brett Rypien is an American-Canadian professional football player who plays quarterback for the Denver Broncos, a football team with its headquarters in Denver, Colorado.
He was the best football player at “Shadle Park High School” in Spokane, Washington. Following consideration of his high school grades, “Boise State University” in Boise, Idaho, made the decision to accept him.
He played quarterback for the school’s “Boise State Broncos Football Program” from his freshman year in 2015 until his graduation in 2018.
He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the “Denver Broncos” following an outstanding career at the collegiate level. On May 2, 2019, the “Broncos” announced their contract with Rypien. He was released on August 31, 2019.
The next day, he was added to the practice squad. He was inserted as a backup quarterback to the active roster on November 1, 2019, two months later.
Rypien was released by the team on November 30, then two days later, on December 2, he was re-signed to the practice squad. He agreed to a reserve/future deal with the “Broncos” on New Year’s Eve 2020.
