Tight end with the Denver Broncos of the National Football League, Eric Saubert plays in the game professionally. He stands 1.96 m tall and weighs 115 kg. At Hoffman Estates High School, where he played football, After graduating from high school, he enrolled at Drake University, where he played for the Drake Bulldogs in college football.
He accepted an invitation to compete in the 2017 East-West Shrine Game, it was disclosed in December 2016. At the 2017 NFL Draft’s fifth round, the Atlanta Falcons selected Saubert with the 174th overall pick. August 2019 saw the deal that brought him to the New England Patriots. During the final roster cuts on August 31, 2019, the Patriots released him.
Saubert joined the Oakland Raiders’ practice squad on September 1, 2019. He was a practice squad member for the Raiders when the Chicago Bears signed him in November of 2019. In the 2019 season, he hauled in two passes for 21 yards. He became a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars practice squad in September 2020. May 2021 saw the signing of Saubert by the Denver Broncos.
In Week 1’s matchup against the New York Giants, he was signed to the active roster as the third tight end on the depth chart and had one reception for seven yards. In the victory over the Chargers during week twelve, he caught his first touchdown pass ever. His contract with the Broncos was renewed in May 2022.
