With the Denver Broncos of the National Football League, Justin Simmons is a free safety. The man is 92 kg and 1.88 m tall. Martin County High School was his alma mater, where he also participated in football. During his time at Boston College, he participated in college football for the Eagles. He took part in all 12 of the Eagles’ contests in his first season in 2012.
At free safety in six of the games and cornerback in one, he made six starts. His 52 tackles put him in seventh place on the team, and his two forced fumbles tied him for the team lead. He participated in every one of the team’s 13 games as a sophomore in 2013, making 34 tackles, 22 of which were solo, and breaking up three passes.
He made each of his 13 starts in 2014 as a junior, starting the first seven at free safety and the final six at right cornerback. In the Broncos’ regular-season opener, he played in his first NFL game against the Carolina Panthers. He agreed to a $41 million, four-year deal with the squad in March 2021. He was put on injured reserve on September 14, 2022, as a result of a quad injury he sustained in Week 1 of the 2022 season. He started acting on October 17.
