Wide receiver and return specialist Jalen Virgil competes for the Denver Broncos in the National Football League. He weighs kg and stands 1.85 meters tall. His senior year grab total was 41 passes for 614 yards and five touchdowns, and he graduated from Mountain View High School. He had three receptions for 68 yards and two touchdowns in the Gwinnett County All-Star Game, in which he was selected to play.
After graduating from high school, he enrolled at Appalachian State University, where he redshirted his true freshman year in 2016 and played six seasons of NCAA football for the Mountaineers. Despite being a redshirt freshman, he took part in each game in 2017.
The end of the year saw him with 20 receptions and 364 receiving yards. He participated in all 13 of the contests in 2018 and recorded 238 receiving yards on 17 receptions, for an average of 14.0 yards, for the season. In 2019, he played every single one of the 14 games and had five starts. Fourth on the team, he had 24 receptions for 383 yards.
In his last season of 2020, he hauled in 15 passes for 226 yards and a score and returned 26 kickoffs for a school-record 781 yards and two scores. Virgil committed to the Denver Broncos in April 2022 via a non-drafted free agent deal. He was listed as one of the Broncos’ 53 players. In a 66-yard touchdown in November, he made his first career reception.
