On November 1, 1995, Darrius Allen Shepherd, an American football wide receiver with the St. Louis BattleHawks, was born. He played college football for North Dakota State before being initially signed by the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent in 2020.
Shepherd was born, one of Amy Shepherd’s three kids. Shepherd completed his education at Blue Springs High School in Blue Springs, Missouri.
Despite receiving a bid from Valparaiso, Shepherd chose to enroll at North Dakota State. With the Bison, Shepherd concluded his collegiate career with 188 receptions for 2,841 yards and 20 touchdowns.
Shepherd earned a bachelor’s degree in university studies with a minor in psychology from North Dakota State in May 2018.
Shepherd was invited to rookie camp on May 6, 2019, and the Green Bay Packers later signed him. On October 14, 2019, he made his NFL debut by catching a 1-yard pass from Aaron Rodgers during a victory over the Detroit Lions in Week 6.
On October 29, he was released and re-signed to the practice squad. On January 21, 2020, he agreed to a reserve/future deal with the Packers.
Shepherd signed a contract with the Denver Broncos on August 4, 2022. On August 30, 2022, he was released, and the following day, he was added to the practice squad. On October 11, he was released.
