Ja’Quan McMillian started off his career at West Forsyth High School (Winston-Salem, N.C.). As a multi-sport athlete, he excelled in football, basketball, and track & field.
McMillian was a four-time All-Central Piedmont performer and was named to the Winston-Salem Journal All-Northwest Area squad three separate times. As a junior, he was the best male athlete in West Forsyth because of how well he did in sports. During his time at the high school, he had a total of 22 interceptions and scored two INT-TDs.
Ja’Quan McMillian’s involvement in athletic activities did not affect his academic work, hence, he graduated from West Forsyth High and attended East Carolina University.
