Netane Muti is a guard with the Denver Broncos of the National Football League. He is 1.91 m tall and weighs 143 kg. He attended Leilehua High School and participated in football there during his high school years. He played college football for the Fresno State Bulldogs at California State University, Fresno. He redshirted his freshman year at Fresno State because of a preseason Achilles injury.
In 2017, he was a redshirt freshman and started all 14 contests. For his efforts, he received Honorable Mention All-Mountain West accolades. In 2018, he suffered a season-ending Achilles injury in the third game of the season, which put a stop to his season.
As a redshirt junior, he was unable to play in the final nine games of the season due to a second injury he sustained in 2019—this time, a Lisfranc foot ailment that required surgery. When he made his NFL Draft selection in January 2020, he lost his right to one more season of NCAA eligibility. In the sixth round of the 2020 NFL Draft, Muti was taken by the Denver Broncos with the 181st overall choice.
Upon the start of training camp in July 2020, he was listed as having an active/non-football injury. After six days, he was reinstated to the roster. After the Broncos released him on August 30, 2022, he was added to the practice squad the following day.
