Outside linebacker Christopher Allen plays in the National Football League for the Denver Broncos. He is 110 kg and 1.93 m tall. He played football at Southern University Laboratory School, where he was voted the Class 1A Defensive MVP after finishing his senior year with 82 tackles, 14 tackles for loss, and six sacks.
He went to the University of Alabama where he played collegiate football for the Alabama Crimson Tide. As a freshman, he participated in seven games, recording six stops and one tackle for loss. In addition, he added two quarterback hurries and one caused turnover.
In the summer before his second season, he was issued a medical redshirt after suffering a season-ending injury in preseason training camp. In the subsequent season, he returned and took part in all 13 of Alabama’s games, finishing with 11 tackles and a half-sack. He had 41 tackles as a redshirt junior, including an SEC-best 13 tackles for loss and six sacks, which earned him a spot on the second team of the Southeastern Conference (SEC).
He broke his foot in the opening game of his redshirt senior season, preventing him from playing the rest of the season. Allen agreed to a contract with the Denver Broncos on May 12, 2022, as an undrafted free agent. On August 10th, 2022, he was placed on injured reserve following an injury.
