In the National Football League, Denver Broncos outside linebacker Christopher Allen competes. He is 1.93 m tall and weighs 110 kg. At Southern University Laboratory School, where he played football, he was selected as the Class 1A Defensive MVP after accumulating 82 tackles, 14 tackles for loss, and six sacks by the end of his senior season.
He attended the University of Alabama, where he played football for the Alabama Crimson Tide. In seven games as a freshman, he took part, making six stops and one tackle for loss. He also tacked on two quarterback hurries and a caused turnover.
After suffering a season-ending injury in preseason training camp going into his second year, he was awarded a medical redshirt. He returned the following year, playing in all 13 of Alabama’s games and finishing with 11 tackles, including half a sack. In his redshirt junior year, he made 41 stops, including an SEC-high 13 tackles for loss and six sacks, and was named second-team All-Southeastern Conference (SEC).
He broke his foot in the first game of his redshirt senior season, forcing him to miss the remainder of the season. Allen joined the Denver Broncos on May 12, 2022, in a non-drafted free agent contract. He was placed on injured reserve on August 10, 2022.
