Mike Boone is a running back for the Denver Broncos in the National Football League. He is 1.78 meters tall and weighs 93 kilos. He played football at Baker County High School, where he also attended. As a senior in 2013, he helped Baker County to a 7-3 record by hauling in 57 receptions for 1,068 yards and 18 touchdowns, including a school record 211 receiving yards in a single game.
He played collegiate football for the Cincinnati Bearcats squad at the University of Cincinnati. As a true freshman, he led the team in rushing with 650 yards and nine touchdowns in nine games, averaging 6.4 yards per carry. Additionally, he only lost five yards.

Boone and the Minnesota Vikings reached an agreement on a free agent contract in April 2018. He made a two-year commitment to the Denver Broncos in March 2021. On October 24, 2022, he was placed on injured reserve as a result of an ancle injury.
