Lloyd Cushenberry III is a center for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League. He is 1.93 m tall and weighs 143 kg. He received his diploma from Dutchtown High School, where he was chosen to the District 5-5A first team in 2015 and the second team as a junior in 2014. He played collegiate football for the LSU Tigers football team at Louisiana State University.
As a redshirt freshman, he played in 11 games and started six of them offensively while redshirting his true freshman season. In his 13-game sophomore campaign, he was the Tigers’ starting center and started each game. He was second on the team in offensive snaps with 973 overall.
He played center in all 15 of his games as a junior in 2019, and with 1,037 total snaps, he led the team in efficiency. For LSU, which won the Joe Moore Award for having the best offensive line in the country, he served as the offensive line captain. He said following the campaign that he would forgo his senior year and instead declare for the 2020 NFL Draft.
He received a degree in sport management in December 2019. With the 83rd overall pick in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft, the Denver Broncos picked Cushenberry. On September 14, 2020, he entered the NFL. He experienced a groin strain on November 8, 2022, and was put on injured reserve.
