Tim Patrick was born and raised in San Diego, California. He will be 29 years old in November. After high school, he first enrolled in Grossmont Community College before transferring to the University of Utah.
Patrick played in nine games during his first season at Utah in 2014, starting four of them. Although he contributed before starting, he finished the season with 16 catches on 22 targets after catching 10-of-15 of his first 15 targets.
Patrick had few opportunities to ease teams’ fears about injuries throughout the pre-draft process. His pro day was the only opportunity he had because he wasn’t invited to the NFL Scouting Combine or the pre-draft bowl games.
Patrick had a successful year in 2021, but due to ongoing quarterback-related problems, he was unable to surpass all previous records. While his 53 catches on 83 targets represented career highs, his 734 yards and five touchdowns fell short.
Patrick received a restricted free agent tender from the Broncos in the second round on March 16, 2021.
On May 18, he executed the one-year contract. Patrick extended his contract with the Broncos for a three-year, $34.5 million deal on November 20, 2021. During a drill on August 2, 2022, Patrick tore his ACL, which caused his season to end early. On August 3, 2022, he was placed on injured reserve.
Tim Patrick’s Children: Does Tim Patrick Have Any Kids?
Patrick has presumably not started making babies in the meantime. It is assumed he wants to invest his time in his career before raising a family.
