When the final roster cuts were made on August 31, 2021, Patrick’s role with the team was eliminated. But after being taken off the active roster on September 9, he was re-signed to the practice squad.
The Denver Broncos activated Patrick on their roster on September 23, 2021, after initially signing him to the Jaguars’ practice squad.
This came after the Jaguars had previously signed Patrick. During Week 6 of the 2022 campaign, Patrick had anterior cruciate ligament damage (ACL).
Patrick’s ACL injury led to his placement on injured reserve on October 21, 2022.
