Javonte Williams is a running back for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League. Williams was born on April 25, 2000, and he now plays for the team.
He attended the University of North Carolina for his college football career and was selected by the Denver Broncos in the second round of the NFL Draft in 2021.
Williams received his high school education from Wallace-Rose Hill in Teachey, North Carolina. He finished his senior year with a rushing total of 2,271 yards and 27 touchdowns.
He only had one FBS offer, and he chose to accept it from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He was the top student at his school and graduated as the valedictorian.
In his first two years at North Carolina, Williams was a freshman and rushed for 933 yards on 166 carries, scoring five touchdowns during that time.

Williams suffered a knee injury during the fourth week of the season while playing against the Las Vegas Raiders and had to leave the game.
It was discovered much later that he had suffered rips to the anterior cruciate ligament, the lateral collateral ligament, and the posterolateral corner. Due to the injury, his 2022 campaign had to be cut short.
