In the National Football League (NFL), Bradley Austin Chubb is an outside linebacker for the Miami Dolphins.
After playing football for the Wolfpack at NC State, he was picked first overall by the Denver Broncos in the 2018 NFL Draft.
Chubb essentially splits his time between linebacker and defensive end when playing at Hillgrove High. During his senior year,
he was a crucial cog in the Hawks’ machine that took them all the way to the 6A quarterfinals in Georgia. [5] It was on June 24, 2013, that he decided to enroll at North Carolina State University for good.
Other schools extended scholarship offers to Chubb, such as Duke, West Virginia, Wake Forest, East Carolina, and others.
As a first-year player, Chubb had mostly limited action on special teams and saw little action overall. He switched positions from outside linebacker to defensive end just before his sophomore year began,
and he was almost immediately thrust into a starting role. He was the ACC’s third-best tackler for losses as a junior.
He was responsible for ten quarterback sacks and had nearly a third of his 72 stops that year result in a loss of yardage.
He was also an All-American and a Bronko Nagurski Trophy finalist, in addition to being named to the first team of the Atlantic Coast Conference.
