Bradley Chubb entered the National Football League with the Broncos in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft. The outside linebacker is currently in his fifth season in the NFL.
Chubb was born on June 24, 1996. He participated in collegiate football at North Carolina State University and was selected in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos.
At Hillgrove High School, Chubb played a hybrid position between linebacker and defensive end. As a senior, he was an integral part of the Hawks’ run to the quarterfinals of the Georgia 6A playoffs.
On June 24, 2013, he made his enrollment at North Carolina State University a definitive commitment. Chubb received scholarship offers from a number of additional universities, including Duke, West Virginia, Wake Forest, East Carolina, and others.
Chubb’s playing time was limited as a freshman, and the majority of it was spent on special teams. Before starting his sophomore year, he made the conversion from outside linebacker to defensive end, and he was in the starting lineup almost immediately.
As a junior, he was recognized for having the third-best tackles for losses in the Atlantic Coast Conference. During his senior year, he was responsible for ten quarterback sacks and had over a third of his 72 total tackles go for a loss of yardage.
In addition to that, he was selected for the first team of the ACC and All-America and was a finalist for the Bronko Nagurski Trophy.
