Orlando Brown, an offensive tackle, is in charge of the offensive line for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League. He is 1.83 m tall and 154 kilograms in weight. He participated in football for Peachtree Ridge High School during his high school years. He made the decision to enroll at the University of Oklahoma, where he participated in the NCAA football tournament for the Oklahoma Sooners.
Before being selected as Oklahoma’s starting left tackle in 2015, he redshirted his freshman year of college. He made the decision to forego his senior year and instead declare for the 2018 NFL Draft in January 2018. He participated in every positional practice as well as the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, but he did not perform well.
The NFL analyst Mike Mayock called his 40-yard dash time “historically terrible” because it was the slowest of any prospect at the combine. 2018 NFL Draft selection 83 overall went to the Baltimore Ravens, who selected Brown in the third round. He was promoted to the active roster for the 2020 Pro Bowl in January 2020 after being selected as an alternative offensive tackle. The Kansas City Chiefs acquired Brown in a trade in April 2021.
The non-exclusive franchise tag was applied to him by the Chiefs in March 2022. He signed his $16.7 million franchise tag tender on August 2, 2022, after failing to strike a long-term agreement.
