Carlos Dunlap, an American football defensive end and linebacker for the National Football League’s Kansas City Chiefs, was born on February 28, 1989.
At Florida, where he played collegiate football, he won a National Championship in 2009. In the second round of the 2010 NFL Draft, he was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals. South Carolina’s North Charleston is where Dunlap was born.
He participated in the Fort Dorchester Patriots high school football team while attending Fort Dorchester High School in North Charleston.
Dunlap was chosen by the Cincinnati Bengals in the second round of the 2010 NFL Draft (54th overall). Dunlap was selected in 2010 as the tenth defensive end overall.
Dunlap was traded to the Seattle Seahawks on October 28, 2020, in exchange for center B. J. Finney and a seventh-round draft pick in 2021.
