In American football, Al’Malik Demichia Herring plays the defensive end. He was born on November 9, 1997, and he currently plays for the National Football League’s Kansas City Chiefs.
The Kansas City Chiefs decided to give him a chance and sign him as an undrafted free agent in 2021 after he completed his college football career at Georgia.
Malik Herring was born in Forsyth, Georgia, on November 9, 1997, entering the world for the first time. He had interest from approximately twenty additional institutions,
but he decided to enroll at the University of Georgia. Herring played in all 15 of his team’s games as a freshman in 2017, finishing the year with seven tackles.
He played in 14 games for Georgia the next season, and at the end of the campaign, he received the honour given to the defensive player who had improved the most over the season.
Herring went undetected in the 2021 NFL Draft, so the Kansas City Chiefs decided to take a risk on him and sign him as an undrafted free agent.
He began the current season on the reserve/non-football injury list because he was still healing from a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL),
which he sustained while participating in workouts for the College Football Senior Bowl. He did this since his injury prevented him from playing football.
Herring finished the season as the sixth defensive end on the Chiefs’ final roster, guaranteeing himself a spot on the squad for the 2022 season.
In week three of the NFL season, he played in his debut game and lost 20-17 against the Indianapolis Colts. In the game, which was also his first game ever played, he made his debut with two tackles.
