Malik Herring

American football player Al’Malik Demichia Herring[1] plays the defensive end position. He entered the world on November 9, 1997, and he currently represents the Kansas City Chiefs in the National Football League.

He played college football in Georgia, and in 2021, the Kansas City Chiefs decided to give him a shot by signing him as an undrafted free agent.

Born in Forsyth, Georgia on November 9, 1997, Malik Herring is a resident of the Peach State. There were about twenty other universities that expressed interest in him,

but he ultimately decided to attend the University of Georgia. Herring started all 15 games he was eligible for as a freshman and finished the year with seven tackles.

He played in 14 games for Georgia the following season and was honored as the team’s most-improved defensive player.

After being overlooked in the 2021 NFL Draft, the Kansas City Chiefs decided to take a chance on Herring by signing him as an undrafted free agent.

He had been on the reserve/non-football injury list to start the new season because he was still rehabilitating from a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) sustained during college football Senior Bowl preparations.

Since his injury prevented him from playing football, this was done. By finishing the season as the Chiefs’ sixth defensive end, Herring ensured himself a spot on the team’s 2022 roster.

His debut NFL game was in week three, and it ended in a loss to the Indianapolis Colts by a score of 20-17. In his first-ever game, he recorded two tackles and made his debut.
