Chris Lammons, a cornerback in the professional game, is a member of the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League. He is 88 kg and 1.75 m tall. He went to Plantation High School for his education. He went to the University of South Carolina after finishing high school, where he played football for the Gamecocks for four seasons.
As a junior, he participated in all 13 of the games and made 53 tackles, one sack, and five passes defensed. As a senior, he had seven passes defended, two forced fumbles, and third-most tackles on the team. At the completion of his undergraduate career, he had 177 total tackles, a sack, four interceptions, 21 passes defended, and three recovered fumbles.
Lammons signed up with the Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted free agent in April 2018. He was let go as part of the final roster cuts in September 2018. He was added to the New Orleans Saints practice squad on October 3, 2018, however he was released on October 20. He joined the Miami Dolphins practice squad in November of last year, and in September of this year, he made his NFL debut.
He began working out with the Kansas City Chiefs in December of 2019. He was cut off the roster on September 5, 2020, and the following day he was signed to the practice squad. He renewed his contract with the Chiefs on June 16, 2022.
