Currently, the Eagles unveiled their most recent Hall of Fame inductees at halftime of the team’s first preseason game of 2021: left tackle Tra Thomas and right tackle Jon Runyan.
These two honorees should come as no shock, as Thomas appeared in all but 10 games throughout his 11-year career in Philadelphia (1998-2008) and was named to three Pro Bowls. Runyan played on the same side of the line as Thomas for nine years (2000-2008), receiving one Pro Bowl selection and never missing a game.
The two players, both Thomas and Runyan finished their career paths one season after departing Philadelphia, only appearing in part of the 2009 season with their new teams, Jacksonville and San Diego. Regardless, both individuals were important anchors for Andy Reid’s offensive line, and they are well-deserving of their inclusion into the Eagles Hall of Fame.

Runyan on the other hand was one of the most crucial free-agent signings in Eagles history, having been signed by the team in 2000.
During his time with the Philadelphia Eagles from 2000 through 2008, he was a true enforcer on the field, dishing out brutal blocks. He played in all 144 regular-season games and 17 postseason games during those nine years.
