DeMeco Ryans is an American football coach and former linebacker who is the defensive coordib=nator for the San Francisco 49er of the National Football League. He was born in July 1984 in Bessemer, Alabama. He is 6ft 1 in tall and weighs 247lb.

He schooled in Basser Jess Lanier High School and proceeded to enroll at the University of Alabama.

Before His Coaching career, Ryan was a professional American Footballer who played college football for the University of Alabama where he was named as unanimous All-American. He also played for the Houston Texas and was recognized as the Defensive Rookie of the year and later traded to the Philadelphia Eagles in 2012.

Officially. Ryans’ coaching career began when the San Francisco 49ers hired him to be their Defensive quality control coach. He was promoted into linebacker coach and currently serving as the defensive coordinator for the 49ers. However, he has been coaching from the time he started playing high school football at Jess Lanier High School.

In most of his interviews, Ryans always explained how passionate he has about coaching players. He talked about helping other players, younger players developing to get better.

Back in his early years with the Eagles, He was entrenched firmly as a coach on the field by the defensive coaches. He earned a nickname as Mufasa after the Character from the Lion King due to the great coaching skill he offers on the field. The team’s current middle linebacker, Jordan Hicks, credits Ryans for helping him along both on and off the field

Under his guidance and the experience he has accumulated as a player himself, he helped Fred Warner become one of the best linebackers in football. Last season, Warner made the Pro Bowl and made the First Team All-Pro for the first time in his career.

He is known to be one of the League’s hottest head-coaching commodities, ever.
