James Bettcher (born May 27, 1978) is an American football coach. He previously served as the defensive coordinator for the Arizona Cardinals and New York Giants.

Born on May 27, 1978 (age 43) in Lakeville, Indiana in the United States of America James attended college at the Saint Francis where he coached after finishing school.

He was said to have served as special teams coordinator & defensive line coach for Saint Francis (IN). He then served as a graduate assistant for Bowling Green, before holding positions for North Carolina, Ball State and New Hampshire.

The year 2021 saw him being brought into the camp of the San Francisco 49ers as the defensive assistant for the team and since done a great job with the team.

Jon is said to have worked in many NFL teams like the New York Giants as well as the Indianapolis Colts

During Jon Embree’s career as a football player, he was said to have played for just three teams with the first been in the year 1990 when he was a player with the Denver Broncos.

Jon after leaving the Broncos played for the Seattle Seahawks as well as the Los Angeles Ram before he retired from playing football and took over coaching.
