Steven Rashad Jackson is a retired American football running back who spent 12 seasons with the St. Louis Rams in the National Football League. He was drafted by the Rams in the first round of the 2004 NFL Draft after playing college football at Oregon State. He devoted his first eight seasons with the team.
Jackson was a running back for Eldorado High School in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he was born. He carried for 6,396 yards and 81 touchdowns for the Sundevils, earning him the title of Sunrise Regional MVP.
Eldorado High School lost to McQueen High School in the state championship his senior year (Reno, Nevada). He also lettered in track and field for four years, running a 10.6 in the 100 meters as a junior, and was a participant of the 4 100 m (42.64 s) relay team.
