Crohn’s disease is an inflammatory bowel illness that affects the small intestine (IBD). It causes inflammation of the digestive tract, which can lead to stomach pain, severe diarrhea, exhaustion, weight loss, and malnourishment as a side effect.
After eight years of abstaining from narcotics, Davidson shared the news on his Instagram account on March 6, 2017.
To be clear, Davidson admitted to only using marijuana in an interview with comedian Marc Maron on his podcast that, while he has since cut back significantly on his use, the personal and emotional problems he initially assumed were caused by his daily marijuana use were actually caused by his newly diagnosed borderline personality disorder, for which he has since been receiving treatment.
Following an honest Instagram post expressing suicidal thoughts on Saturday, December 15th, Davidson deleted his Instagram account. Police in New York conducted a health check on Davidson after social media posts from his fans and ex-fiancee Ariana Grande prompted them to do so.
He was at the SNL studio, prepping for the final episode before the show’s yearly hiatus, which aired later that evening. The first episode after the holiday hiatus aired on January 19, 2019, with John Mulaney, a comedian, and former SNL writer, making jokes about Instagram posts during the Weekend Update segment.
