Jim Hagedorn First Wife: Jennifer Carnahan and Jim Hagedorn Wedding
Deceased Minnesota Republican Congressman Jim Hagedorn and Republican Party Chairwoman Jennifer Carnahan were said to have gotten married in December 2018.
The couple were said to have gotten married at the Canary Hotel in downtown Santa Barbara. The couple, first met when Carnahan was running for her leadership position in 2017.
Carnahan ran for Minnesota State Senate in 2016 and lost. But, in 2017, she was elected to be the Minnesota Republican Party Chairwoman. She was third on the first ballot behind two others but eventually was the one selected.
Jim Hagedorn’s Death
Republican Party Congressman Jim Hagedorn died aged 59 after a two-year battle with kidney cancer.
The Minnesota Representative Jennifer Carnahan’s wife, 45, confirms the news about her Facebook on Friday morning and shared a photo of her holding her husband’s hand in his final moments.
Sharing the news she wrote saying;
“It is with a broken heart, broken spirit and overwhelming sadness that I share that my husband, Congressman Jim Hagedorn, passed away peacefully last night,” Carnahan wrote. ‘Jim was a husband, son, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, friend, brother-in-law, son-in-law, Vikings, Penguins and Twins loved and will be missed and missed by many.’
