Steve Spagnuolo is an American football coach who is the defensive coordinator for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League (NFL).
Spagnuolo began his NFL coaching career in the Philadelphia Eagles organization in 1999, serving as linebackers and defensive backs coach. He remained there for eight years.
In January 2007, he was recruited as the defensive coordinator for the New York Giants under lead trainer Tom Coughlin.
He burned through two years in New York, and was the engineer of the forceful cautious methodology against the New England Patriots (the most elevated scoring hostile group in NFL history at that point) in Super Bowl XLII, which was instrumental in the nearby triumph by the Giants.
Following the Super Bowl win and a lot of recognition, Spagnuolo’s name was broadly flowed for open lead trainer positions around the NFL.
On February 7, 2008, he removed his name from thought for the head training position of the Washington Redskins. That very day, the Giants made Spagnuolo one of the most generously compensated defensive coordinators in the NFL with another three-year contract, worth generally $2 million per year.
Steve Spagnuolo’s Wife: Meet Maria Spagnuolo
Maria aria Spagnuolo is the wife of the defensive coordinator for the Kansas City Chiefs Steve Spagnuolo. The two were on a blind date several years ago.
The Spagnuolos married in 2015 at the Vatican in Rome, Italy. The couple made the decision to head overseas to tie the knot and didn’t tell their families until just a couple of days before their flight.
Maria has worked as a hairdresser at Nirvana Hair Gallery and Day Spa in Springfield, Pennsylvania for several years.
Spagnuolo loves to be at home cooking and baking up a storm, and she often sends her husband to work with sweet treats — which he has shared with some of the players he has worked with.
In fact, back in June, Landon Collins admitted to enjoying some of Maria’s banana pudding.
