Brooks Raley is an American professional baseball player who positions as a pitcher for the Tampa Bay Rays baseball team of the Major League Baseball(MLB). He made his MLB debut with the Chicago Cubs in 2012.
Raley was born June 29, 1988, in San Antonio, Texas, the United States of America to parents Terry Raley and DeeAnna Raley.
He played college baseball for the Texas A&M Aggies baseball team at Texas A&M University. He started his professional career with the Chicago Cubs team from 2012 to 2013. After signing a contract with Lotte Giants in December 2014, Raley started playing for them in 2015 till 2020 when he signed a minor-league deal with the Cincinnati Reds. A deal came with that an invitation to spring training.
During the latter part of 2020, the Reds traded him to the Houston Astros team where he played for a year. He finally got to sign a two-year contract worth $10 million with the Tampa Bay Rays baseball team when he was declared a free agent in November 2021.
