Here is a list of the top 5 Greatest All-Time New England Patriots.
1. Tom Brady
Brady is the greatest player of all time, having won three MVP awards and six Super Bowl rings. His No. 12 jersey will be retired one day because he holds all of the major franchise passing records.
He was drafted in the sixth round of the 2000 NFL Draft by the New York Giants, replacing the injured Drew Bledsoe, and hasn’t looked back since. The Patriots have won 218 regular-season games and 30 postseason games since then, thanks to Tom Brady and the team.
2. John Hannah
One of the greatest offensive linemen in NFL history, John Hannah is universally regarded. Hannah’s importance to the Patriots is second only to Tom Brady’s, and his 147 score is at least 31 points better. Only Brady has more Pro Bowl appearances than Hannah.
3. Rob Gronkowski
It was the finest year of Gronk’s career, with 90 receptions for 1,327 yards and 17 touchdowns. Gronkowski was drafted in the second round of the 2010 NFL Draft and made his first Pro Bowl appearance in 2011. The Associated Press named him to the All-Pro First Team four times.
4. Andre Tippett
New England has drafted and signed numerous Pro Bowl pass rushers, but none have had the influence Tippett has had on the team. Tippett was picked by the Patriots in the second round of 1982. Tippett’s Hall of Fame career concluded with 100 sacks in 151 games.
5. Gino Cappelletti
Cappelletti appeared in five Pro Bowls as a kicker, wide receiver, and briefly as a defensive back. He was named AFL Player of the Year in 1964, an honor Joe Namath would later capture twice.
