According to reports and news updates concerning the plane crash, the Cessna plane in which the couples were traveling mysteriously disappeared without a trace. It was reported to have been found in a wooded area by a Sherrif officer.

He left behind six children; Donna Cooper (Arthur), Kathy Button (Daniel), James (Cindy), Stephen (Salynne), Daniel (Margaret), and David (Karen) Slattery, he also left behind 16 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Donald was a philanthropist and he believed in the need to help the needy in his community. He also believed that people can be good and even better. He will be solely missed and may his soul rest in perfect peace.
