Travis Paul Jankowski is an American professional baseball outfielder who plays for the New York Mets of Major League Baseball. Travis was born on June 15, 1991, in Lancaster. He has also featured for the San Diego Padres of the MLB.
Jankowski is known to have been raised in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where he and his brother were nurtured by their dad who happened to be a retired college baseball outfielder. Jankowski’s dad played for Lancaster Catholic High School.
Coming back to Travis, whiles with Stony Brook he propelled the team to make an appearance in the 2012 college world series. In the year 2012, he was selected by the Padres in the first-round selection. He was known to have developed an offensive system or style of play that added some improvements to his career.
