Travis Jankowski is an American professional baseball outfielder for the New York Mets of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has played in MLB for the San Diego Padres, Cincinnati Reds, and Philadelphia Phillies.
His father, Paul Jankowski played a very pivotal role at the early ages of his baseball career and grew up supporting the Philadelphia Phillies of Major League Baseball (MLB).
He filled in as an outfielder while attending Lancaster Catholic High School and served as wide receiver for the gridiron football team.
After high school, he had the scholarship to attend Stony Brook University where he committed to play college baseball.
While in college, Jankowski played summer baseball with the Marion Bobcats of the Kitty League.
He made 40 appearances and he drove the baseball team with a .484 batting average, 62 hits, and 45 stolen.
Fast forward, Travis was welcome to play for the Bourne Braves of the Cape Cod Baseball League. In 26 at-bats with Bourne, Jankowski scored five runs for a .346 normal.
He got back to Stony Brook as a sophomore in 2011, starting 53 games in the focus field. In 115 possibilities, Jankowski didn’t make a mistake.
