Cristopher Sanchez is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher for the Philadelphia Phillies of Major League Baseball (MLB).
On July 15, 2013, Sánchez agreed to a $65,000 signing bonus with the Tampa Bay Rays as an international free agent. The DSL Rays were where he played in 2014, 2015, and 2016.
With a 7.77 earned run average over 22 innings in 2014, Sanchez went 2–1 in 2015 with a 3.54 ERA in 20+1/3 innings, then went 5-3 with a 3.06 ERA in 2016 with 61+2/3 innings.
While pitching for the Princeton Rays in 2017, he went 1–6 with a 10.01 ERA in 38+2/3 innings. He was released after the season. During the 2018 season, Sanchez pitched for Princeton and the Hudson Valley Renegades, going 4-2 with a 4.50 ERA in 52 innings pitched in each location.

On November 20, 2019, Sánchez was traded to the Philadelphia Phillies for Curtis Mead. Upon his acquisition, Sánchez was immediately added to the 40-man roster of the Philadelphia Phillies.
