Odubel Herrera is a Venezuelan professional baseball center fielder for the Philadelphia Phillies of Major League Baseball (MLB).
He began his baseball career predominantly with the Texas Rangers of MLB. Herrera was signed as an international free agent by the Texas Rangers of Major League Baseball (MLB) in 2008.
In 2009, he began his professional baseball career in the Dominican Summer League (DSL).
Herrera had a batting average of in 58 games, 280 runs batted in (RBIs), 24 runs scored, and 58 hits. and 260 plate appearances with the DSL Rangers.
