Taylor Lorenz is neither the creator nor owner of the anonymous TikTok account Libs of TikTok. She, on the other hand, decided to track down the person behind TikTok’s Libs.
She is only responsible for releasing the identity of the account’s owner, and she gets doxxed and criticized by the same individuals.
Taylor showed up at the woman’s relatives’ house to question the anonymous internet celebrity, revealing that Libs of TikTok was created by a woman named Chaya Raichik.
She’s a far-right Facebook user who claims to “bring you news you won’t find anywhere else. Libs of TikTok are also well-known for their conservative beliefs and their opposition to liberal ideologies and values.
Despite her controversial political remarks, she has a huge internet following. During an interview with the New York Post in February 2022, Raichik said she was a “one-person operation” who worked alone online from her home in California. She went on to say:
