Devin Williams is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Milwaukee Brewers of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2019.
Williams began his high school career at Christian Brothers College High School in Hazelwood, Missouri, where he remained until his sophomore year.
He was taken by the Milwaukee Brewers in the second round of the 2013 MLB draft, as the 54th overall pick.
The Brewers offered him a $1.35 million signing bonus, and he chose that over a degree from the University of Missouri.
Williams tore the ulnar collateral ligament in his elbow during 2017 spring training. For the entire season, he had Tommy John surgery.
At All-Star Futures Game in 2019, he was selected as a representative of the Milwaukee Brewers.
August 5, 2019, marked Williams’ promotion to the major leagues after Milwaukee picked his contract. On August 7, he made his major league debut at PNC Park against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
