Garrett Richards is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Texas Rangers of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has previously played in MLB for the Los Angeles Angels, San Diego Padres, and Boston Red Sox.
Richards was called up to replace the suspended Jered Weaver in the rotation. Richards made his major league debut with a loss to the New York Yankees, surrendering six earned runs in five innings of work.
