Dennis Santana is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher for the Texas Rangers of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has previously played in MLB for the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Tulsa Drillers promoted Santana from Rancho Cucamonga Quakes during the 2017 season. He had a combined record of 8–7 with a 4.11 earned run average over 24 appearances with the two groups (21 starts).
On November 20, 2017, the Dodgers included him in their 40-man roster. The Tulsa RoughRiders were his first stop in 2018, but the AAA Oklahoma City Dodgers were his final stop in May.
He was selected the Pacific Coast League Pitcher of the Week for his performance in his major league debut, in which he struck out 11 batters in six scoreless innings.
On May 30, 2018, the Los Angeles Dodgers promoted Santana to the majors for the first time, and he made his debut on June 1 against the Colorado Rockies, pitching 323 innings and allowing five runs on six hits.
During his debut at-bat in the major leagues, he also smashed a two-run double.
