Kole Calhoun is a professional American Baseball pitcher who plays right field for the Texas Rangers of Major League Baseball. Kole Calhoun who was born on October 14, 1987, previously played for the Los Angeles Angels and Arizona Diamondbacks.
Calhoun’s early years reveal that he attended Buckeye Union High School in Buckeye, Arizona. He and one other were named West Valley High School Baseball Co-Players Of the year. During his college years, he played at Yavapai College as well as Arizona State University. Kole was drafted by the Angels in the eighth round of the 2010 Major League Baseball draft and made his first appearance in the year 2012. He won a Gold Glove Award three years later.
He commenced his professional career with the minor league team Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. They selected him in the eighth round of the year 2010 Major League Baseball draft. After his draft, he was assigned to the Rookie league, Orem. Over there he recorded a hit of .292 with seven home runs and 42 RBI. He earned the name California League Postseason All-Star team as a Utility player.
Calhoun who was placed on the disabled team was recalled in the year May 21, 2012. He made his first appearance the following day. He was known to be the eighth player to make his major league debut in the 2010 Major League Baseball draft. He joined the Texas Rangers on November 30, 2021.
