Eli White is an American professional baseball utility player for the Texas Rangers of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2020.
White joined Nashville’s Triple-A affiliate in 2019, his first year in the Rangers’ system, and has had another successful year.
Although his batting average has dipped since his Double-A days, he has still been impressive. White has established himself as a key member of the Sounds’ lineup with a.265 batting average and an.801 on-base percentage through 71 games.
After a distinguished collegiate career as a shortstop for Clemson, White made the jump to the professional ranks.
In his first season with the A’s organization, he played shortstop between the Rookie and Low-A levels. However, in 2017 he began to play in the outfield alongside his native position at shortstop.
