After the 2018 season, he was a member of the Mesa Solar Sox of the Arizona Fall League.

A three-team transaction that sent Jurickson Profar to Oakland and netted Texas a load of prospects saw the Texas Rangers acquire Eli White in December of 2018.

At the time, White had established himself as a standout prospect in the A’s farm system as a player who could routinely produce above average.

White had just finished a breakout season with Oakland’s Double-A affiliate Midland, where he had a.306 batting average and an.838 OPS in 130 games.

He entered the organization as the 12th-ranked prospect in the Rangers’ system, according to MLB Prospect Watch, and currently ranks 16th.
