Hunter Dozier who is fully called Hunter William Dozier is a professional third baseman baseball player who was born on August 22, 1991, in Wichita Falls, Texas, United States. He was selected by the Royals in the first round of the 2013 draft pick after he featured formerly at Stephen F. Austin State University. His Major League first appearance was in 2016.

His early days say he attended Denton High School in Denton Texas where he played for the School’s baseball and some American teams. Still, in his early years, his football dreams were shortened when he developed a broken collarbone in his Junior year.

Dozier commenced his professional career when he was selected in the eighth round of the 2013 Major League Baseball draft. For the Royals, he signed a $2.2 million signing bonus. He joined the Idaho Falls Chukars at the minor level before the major league. With them, he batted a .308 with seven home runs and 52 RBIs.

Dozier was promoted to the major leagues in the year September 2, 2016, and made his first appearance on September 12. He as well recorded his first Major League hit on September 16.
