Boston Celtics Hall of Famers: Who Are They?

Boston Celtics is an American professional basketball team based in Boston which was founded on June 6, 1946, and the team was founded by Walter A Brown.

As a member of the Eastern Conference Atlantic Division, Boston Celtics compete in the Basket National Association.

The following Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame players and coaches all spent part of their career with the Boston Celtics organization.

  • Ray Allen was inducted in 2018, he spent 5 seasons at Boston Celtics and played 358 games.
  • Tiny Archibald played 363 games for BOS in 5 seasons and was enshrined in 1991.
  • Jo Jo White spent 10 Seasons in BOS and played 717 games, he was inducted in 2015.
  • Bill Sharman also spent 10 Seasons with an Averaged of 18.1 points in 680 games, he was also inducted in 1976.
  • Bill Russell spent 13 Seasons in BOS. He played 963 games, some big achievements by him are; NBA’s Top 50, NBA’s Top 75, 5x MVP, 3x All-NBA 1st, All-NBA Defensive 1st, 12x All-Star. He was inducted in 2021.
  • Paul Pierce – 15 Seasons in BOS – Averaged 21.8 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.4 steals in 1102 games

  • Red Auerbach was the Head Coach of the Boston Celtics from 1950-51 to 1965-66. He also became the General Manager from 1950-51 to 1983-84, and also the  Vice-Chairman of the Board from 1997-98 to 2001-02. He got inducted into the team’s fall of Famers in 1969.
