Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr., popularly known as Bongbong Marcos, is a well-known politician from Filipino. Bongbong was born September 13, 1957, in Manila in the Philippines.
Growing up, he attended kindergarten and had his elementary school education at the Institucion Teresiana and La Salle Green Hills in Manila where he was born. He was then taken to England where he lived and studied at Worth School, an all-boys Benedictine institution in West Sussex, England.
After his secondary school education, he attended St Edmund Hall in Oxford to study philosophy, politics and economics (PPE). He passed philosophy, but failed economics, and failed politics twice which made him ineligible for a degree thus he was given a special diploma in social studies which is awarded mainly to non-graduates.
After he graduated, he went to Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia in the USA to study for his Masters in Business Administration program but he did not complete it as he claims he withdrew from the program to concentrate on his election as vice governor of Ilocos Norte in 1980.
