There have been 44 New York Yankees inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame, as well as 11 Yankee managers with Rivera and Jeter having the two highest vote percentages of all Hall of Fame members
Baseball’s New York Yankees hail from the Bronx, where they play at Yankee Stadium. The squad plays in the American League’s East Division. The Baltimore Orioles (not related to the present Baltimore Orioles) were founded in 1901, transferred to New York City in 1903, and renamed in 1913 to their current name.
The New York Yankees have won 19 AL East division championships, 40 AL pennants, and 27 World Series triumphs all of which are MLB records making them the most successful professional sports club in the United States.
